Flowers n Things

It's that day of the year when marketing departments conspire to persuade us that we're in love with somebody.

After the market we nipped into The Flower Lady courtyard (pictured here) for a cosy latte from the coffee cabin. Roo was not in evidence. He was staying with his Dad, apparently.

I'd unearthed my big white, well, off white since I don't dare wash it, quilted coat, so I felt snug sitting there. Not sure that Len felt the same and Basil was disgusted at having to sit in the cold and turned his back on me.

The best thing by far about the day was that the cloud, that has been with us like a blanket for over a week, began to break up to reveal blue sky.

We had bonito, a smaller version of tuna, for tea. I overcooked it but I did eat all my fillet. Len protested at the bones
