A Blipper's Dozen

I've been twelve years a slave to blip. :) I'm fortunate that I've been able to take a photograph every day for a dozen years without missing a single day. (Sometimes I've needed to upload my pics to the correct day as backblips.)

I love it that my anniversary falls on St Valentine's Day, the day that my mother used to say the birds got married. This idea was mentioned first and elaborated on by Chaucer in his Parlement of Foules. I've chosen pics of birds that I've blipped in the past and superimposed them on a dozen quail's eggs. I placed the transparent box of eggs on one of Charles Tunnicliffe's lovely illustrations in my Garden Birds book.

It was so lovely to see the sun today. I've pictured it shining through a heart on a cheap vase filled with water dyed red.

As I mentioned recently, the whole process of blipping has become a very valuable diversion for me recently. Thank you all for being part of that.
