With all the excitement of Miss L’s birthday I forgot to say that Miss E got an email on Monday from the man who interviewed her on Sunday. It was lovely to meet her, he said, and they would love to offer her a place for a work experience week in July.
Whoop whoop!!!
She’s so pleased.
And we’re very proud!!!
She messaged me earlier - as I was mopping the kitchen - to ask could I take her to Waterstones when she finished school to pick up a book that had come out today. Because I’m a soft touch I said yes and off we went to Milton Keynes.
I made her buy me a hundred teabags from M&S as a thank you because we’d run out!
