Sunshine!!!!

A beautiful, unexpected, sunny day matched by these gloriously cheerful sunny crocuses.

The omens were not good first thing. Then something miraculous happens. A golden light at first seeped and later flooded the room. Sunny enough to warm the conservatory for us to have our lunch there for the first time this year. What a lift to the spirits. It was a joy to walk this morning.

This afternoon illustrated, once again, one of the major factors driving us from the southeast. The traffic was horrendous even before schools came out. The whole region is too busy, too congested, too - anything you’d like to mention.
