Spoke too soon

I’d assumed that yesterday’s teddy bear had found its own way into the bouquet of flowers but no, it was there intentionally.
I found this out  by seeing the same bears in the bouquets in another branch of the same shop.
We were only there because Mr. Beewatcher had found a good offer for Valentine’s Day takeaway fish and chips from the chippy nearby. 
Who says romance is dead ?
