Our main job of the day was to go to the lodge to await an afternoon delivery of a dining table. There was nothing wrong with the old one, it had done well for 20 years but it was large: a 6-seater extending to 8, and the kitchen had extended to where there had been a slimmer sideboard. So, now that we don't allow the use of a bed-settee, there is no need to seat more than 4.

If local friends come to the lodge to join the visitors the new table will extend to seat 6 using stoos or patio chairs. It should make the one living space seem more spacious.

This morning I went to SwingFit which I'd missed for a few weeks. I soon got back into the swing of it!

Just recently I discovered 3 little ponies, maybe Shetlands, in the village so I thought I'd stop and get a shot of them grazing but they, and the 2 sheep came running up to me and I had nothing for them but a moment of fame on blip.
