Gate

The bus was quiet again. I’m enjoying this week as I know I will always get a seat on the bus to work. The office was rather quiet too today. Wednesday is usually a popular day to be in, but not this week. I think quite a few colleagues are off on leave, and so know a couple are off sick.

I did catch up with my boss today. She has been poorly with a hideous bug, and I’m not sure she should be back at work, as she isn’t herself.

I had too many meetings today, too close together, which meant I wasn’t able to escape for half an hour at lunchtime. When I got home tonight I had a quick snack then headed out for a walk, as I had hardly any steps. I had a quick tea when I got back, then watched a couple of episodes of Bad Sisters. TT was out celebrating a colleague’s birthday and was home later than usual.

I walked past the cemetery tonight, and this is one of the gates.
