Beechgrove Church

For those of you hoping for a dawn shot at low tide
I apologise.
I awoke at 4.00am looked out the window at the low cloud
and went back to bed.
However, the day improved and by mid-afternoon the cloud had burnt off
and a beautiful day ensued.
I had a shot in the bag and then as the sun went down the light caught the steeple of Beechgrove church and turned the grey granite into gold.
The church is currently being converted into flats .
The lower half of the steeple has been pointed and cleaned,
normally gleaming silver in the sunlight,
but tonight it was gold.
