Flower Friday

My wife's orchids never let me down.

I do find them pleasingly challenging to photograph in a different way, and I love their habit and shapes. They genuinely respond to the careful nurturing that Mrs I gives, she just knows what they need and is careful not to overdo it.

I have said before that they thrive on neglect. Not quite true but they are not exactly high maintenance.

This one has been rewarding us for years and has been blipped before.

Happy Valentine's Day to all who indulge.

Just another day to us, no cards or secret messages. And we have all the plants and flowers we could ever want.

But I find tea is a good way to raise a smile.

Everything stops for tea...
