Charity shop jigsaw

I’m enjoying having a jigsaw on the go all the time, on the living room table. I’ve finished this one today, discovering that 8 pieces are missing, and I have 3 pieces that don’t belong to this puzzle.  When I started it and wondered if all the bits would be there, blipper Edisteve said jigsaws are checked at his charity shop. I’m afraid they’re not at the Oxfam shop i helped at til recently. We have so many passing through, and one toys and puzzles volunteer.  There just wouldn’t be time to do each puzzle before it was sold - or count the pieces. I still enjoyed doing it very much - lots of birds gradually emerging from the piles of pieces. But what to do with it now? I can’t in all conscience give it back to another charity shop - I suppose I need to put it in cardboard recycling:(
I had to take my car back to the garage today - only for a new headlight bulb, but it’s far too complex for me to change it myself. While he was doing it I walked up Gloucester Road - an interesting street of independent shops.  Lots of things we don’t have in relatively boring south Bristol, including a Scoopaway whole foods shop. So I got various seeds, beans and grains. On my way back down, I passed a toy shop, with a big display in the window of jigsaws of Bristol.  So of course I had to buy one……
