A day at the Tennis

Today a friend and I took my friend from the home to a big tennis tournament run by STH Canterbury tennis. All entrants in the top 200 internationally. Gay loved it even though she had some nanna naps through the day. She has been involved in tennis all her life and won many awards
The organisers made a big fuss off her and we were given VIP seats where we could get her walker too. What a day she had and didn’t really want to go home
The girl playing was from Europe and lifted off the ground as she served. They had some mighty rallies
My extra is only 10 and was putting the score onto the 3lectric score board. Many young people helping, well schooled as ball boys etc.  one line umpire from here was in the thick of it and she goes home to England every year to be a line umpire at Wimbledon
A great day out but have been asleep in my chair hence no comments on blip sorry
