The Family…..

……..was pottering around on the waters of the outlet of the lake at the Taylor Dam. Here they are paddling, in some haste, towards the bank. Once there, they spent some time teaching their baby cygnets how to forage for food. Heads down bottoms up. Unbeknown to me there were two very large black swans and their two teenage cygnets standing on the bank right behind me. They were waiting to launch themselves into the water and were showing some impatience. How did I know that? Both adults hissed at me very loudly. . I retreated carefully.
