Dark End of the Street

It has been a real summers day today with the cicadas singing loudly and not a cloud in the sky.  I did some weeding early before the sun climbed above the gum trees on the hill.  I am in love with the new dinnerplate series of dahlias.  This is Cafe au Lait Supreme  and I rather liked the dark look even though it doesn't match the day.
