House Building

My wish for rain was granted last night. No more weather wishes. It will do what it wants to do.

Sitting outside in glorious evening sunshine, our attention was drawn to a couple of house martins twittering away while precariously balanced on an external beam. Flying off, returning, twittering. They went on like this for some time.

We concluded that they were building a nest, getting the foundations laid. We think. Fascinating.

Always good to see builders at work. Hope is comes in on time and within budget. You know what builders are like.
