Delia Smith’s Winter Collection Goes to Bru

A day of reconnecting. We both did some online work, a couple of washing machine loads hung up on the roof terrace, soup defrosting for tomorrow’s lunch and unpacked a couple of easy bags - supermarket purchases from Scotland and online Marks and Spencer purchases which had been delivered to a friend in Edinburgh. That’s enough for the first day back! I bought this book, together with 3 others in a book charity shop in Largs. Bargain price of one pound. I discovered I already have it! No problem. Gave it to our next door neighbours Mercè and Ferran and they’ll give it to their son, Bru, now living with his partner. We’ve known Bru since he was a toddler. The other 3 bargains are now on our cookery book shelves - 2 more Delia and a Jamie Oliver. All like new, £1 each. I love a bargain!
