Waiting his turn
The woodpecker monopolises the bird feeder and all the smaller birds disappear when he arrives, the occasional Tit will dive bomb and snatch a morsel away from the far side. Today a Robin waits patiently below, he was there for quite a few minutes before taking his turn and before the others returned with renewed courage.
