A day of nothingness
….........Is 'nothingness' even a word? Lol!
Today I have had two walks and a play in the field with my ball. Today (even though she wasn't working) Ann said that we weren't going off on any adventures together, because our weather app was telling us that there was going to be strong winds and rain.
There was strong winds, but the rain didn't come till about 4.30pm. By then, I'd just come back home from my play in the field and even though it was raining, I still insisted on going out onto the sun terrace to guard my ball. Ann took this photo from indoors.
After I'd guarded my ball for half an hour, guess what happened.................. Ann's friends, Simon & Steve and their two naughty little Pugs, Tom & Ollie, popped round to see us. Myself and the Pugs go mad for the first couple of minutes. It's carnage!!! We bark at each other, we run around, we do silly puppy jumping up (and none of us are puppies).................... And then we calm down. Phew!!!! The Pugs just sit on their daddies knees and I snooze in my bed.
The human's drink Prosecco OK, Steve had a cup of tea and when they left, just after 7pm, I eventually got my dinner. I was very hungry by then, but obviously Ann didn't want to feed me when the pugs were here, because I bet those naughty little Pugs would have tried to eat my dinner.
Ann has just bought me a 15kg bag of duck & rice. Yum, yum, yum! I gobbled it all up straight away. I haven't had duck & rice for months!!!
PS - I was a bit 'possessive' today. Every time Ann made a fuss of the Pugs, I went a bit mental!!! She's my mummy and I don't want her giving attention to any other doggies. Mmmm................. Ann says that just because I'm 6 years old now; that doesn't mean that I can do what I like. #Annistheboss
