Roman Pub

We had an emergency grandparenting day today as the other grandfather was in hospital with a heart issue. He is expecting an operation for a pacemaker in two weeks, which might be brought forward now.

Anyhow, we went to Ribchester for lunch and the play area.  Me and BrambleBlossom took Bramble for a walk, while the other played with the delightful Freya.

I have blipped the White Bull, which is over 300 years old and has an unusual wooden bull sign.  It also has Roman columns at its entrance, allegedly found in the nearby River Ribble.
