My sister had to go out this morning so I went for a run exploring by the river, there were loads of snowdrops in the wooded areas.
This afternoon went for a muddy walk by the Solway watching birds and admiring the views north.
We visited Port Carlisle, long past it's glory days, and thick is all that remains of the steamer pier, though there are some other bits left. The return to the car was along the old railway.
