Same Old, Same Old

Another snowstorm, more snow plowing, and snow shoveling…you know the drill! As you can see we are tired of winter and long for spring, and flowers, and insects, and all that is non-white!! • Speaking of birds, speaking of spring, guess “who” was at the birdbath this afternoon?!? No guesses? • ROBINS!! Yes, there were at least seven robins bob-bob-bobbin’ along. No, not really, but soon when the snow is gone • Starlings were bathing while bluebirds and robins pushed their way in for sips and long drinks. Unfortunately a pile of poorly placed snow prevented a photo • This is a female bluebird taking shelter on a lilac branch. She’s contemplating the number of days until spring • It’s 35 • Peace & Love
