Coombe Abbey

Today B and I went to Coombe Abbey and had ‘high tea’ there. B had been given a voucher to spend there for her birthday. So it was very posh with sandwiches and scones and cakes. The inside has lots of old wooden chairs and stone pillars in the very large hallway, we had our food in ‘the conservatory’. We were going to look around the lake but it was quite muddy underfoot and looked to be a fair distance away. In extras, see a couple of sundials that were on the wall of the abbey.
