This is Dippy who has the ability of a harrier jump jet, enabling him to gain great heights with seemingly little effort. The podium stands are large haylage bales (over wintered).
My busy and enjoyable day consisted of organising unnecessary belongings, Pre preparing meals for the days ahead, trying to access a pension fund, cutting walking sticks, collecting and cleaning two of my bikes, one is quite adequate I’ve decided.
Approaching the 12 month “anniversary” of being hit from behind by an eighty year old driver, although not put off cycling on the road, it’s simply no fun having to share it with 41 million vehicles some of which have drivers who are oblivious to the safe passing of pedestrians or cyclists.
Speeding cars are now lethal weapons, I read a report from the RAC recently :
nearly half (48%) of UK police forces caught drivers exceeding 90mph on 30mph roads in the 20 months to the end of August last year, an investigation has found.
Enough said.
We had an excellent choir practice and very enjoyable social afterwards where Dippy was invited in to entertain in only the way an energetic puppy can:))
