Alice B.’s big birthday is only weeks away so I popped into town to shop for some items.

Excitement at the pool this morning! There was almost a fight in the slow but steady lane. Firstly I had to tell one person that they were in the wrong lane, they were swimming too fast and were overtaking regardless of what was happening on the return length. He took heed and changed lanes. Within a couple of lengths another swimmer was overtaking when the swimmers she swam between protested. There were raised voices, lifeguards were consulted, discussions had; things chilled so we continued our morning swims.
