New Zealand

What day is it? What time is it?
A confusing day - our flight left Singapore at 7.30pm last night. We had dinner, slept a bit, had breakfast, and arrived in Sydney. Had another breakfast. Flight to Christchurch - another breakfast and a sleep. Oh dear!
But - we are in New Zealand!!
Picked up our hire car and headed south on quite a dull drive. Not much to mention in the scenery but we did stop at Timaru for a beach walk. The beach is known for its penguins - who weren’t around when we were there.
On to Dunedin, arrived at 9ish, staying at a lovely house through Home Exchange. Our son and his girlfriend turned up 10 minutes later and we were straight off out to the pub! Reunited, we found ourselves in a Scottish pub, with some musicians giving us some appropriate tunes. Lovely to catch up with the two young ‘uns. Can’t believe we are here.
