Needs Must

I spent last night pacing, wishing for day break. I've been nursing a sore ear this week, and thinking it was just a waxy mess, I've been treating it myself. However, last night, the infection caught hold, and sleep was impossible.

The system at my GP is that they have an open surgery 9-10.30am. You can phone to book an appointment the night before between 5-5.30pm or turn up at the GPs at 8 am. in person to be given a slot. You are then free to return home and come back at the time of your appointment. I love that you can usually be seen on the same day if needs be, but the yo-yo-ing is odd and tricky if you're feeling rubbish.

Anyway, it turns out I have a ranging infection, not only in my ears but the doctor reckons it has been hiding in two other places. I've got the big guns for 7 days! I came home feeling worse and wiped out.

There was a Severance feel to looking down the corridor.
Tomorrow will be better and I'm sure I will sleep tonight.
