An interesting day
Only B would calculate my birthday in this way.
I never expected to be celebrating my 80th birthday, I seem to have suddenly got to this age and stage, I feel a really old lady.
When I woke this morning I gave thanks to the cardiac surgeon at Glenfield Hospital in Leicester who removed my ascending aortic aneurism and replaced it with a new aortic valve and an aortic arch back in 2020, in the midst of the Covid pandemic.
The day was fairly routine with knit and natter this morning. It was so cold in the shop that by the time I got home my hands were freezing. I curled up on the settee with a couple of beanies to thaw out before I could do anything.
J came round to collect Olive after work and we had a chance to talk to R on line, who had just finished her working day in Saudi
