Progress on GSW

Spent invested quite a lot of today working on the pyrography of the feather detail on the wings and tail.
Lost a big chunk of the day trying to use a new bit of kit which uses a high speed rotary disk to get the same effect without charring the wood. Cut a lot of grooves but didn't get near the effect I was after. Cries of "help" and then back to see RD - the guru -tomorrow.
Also managed to produce a good 45 degree mitre joint on a prototype (for me) photo frame.
Another good day. Joy tempered by an attack of the munches that has put me 400 calories over my limit for the day. Oh Well as someone once said.
