Men this lovely busker in Whanganui, pulling a cart full of instruments, on his way to a music shop to buy a string for his guitar. He was telling me that he was off to New York shortly, to record an album of his songs for RCA. Otherwise labels were also interested, but he was going to stick with RCA. He wouldn’t sing me one of his songs, in case I stole it - but he assured me that they were very good, and would soon be recorded, as he had sent RCA a demo.
