Rain stopped play

It would be wrong of me to complain that our life is hard right now. We have a home and the kind of security that many don't. But living is trickier than normal because of the building work. On a rainy day like today, when we feel like staying indoors, we have nowhere to sit - our living room is still a building site and we have no furniture to sit on. The boy has nowhere to play. His room is tiny and full of toys (and some of our stuff, too) that would normally be distributed around other rooms.

The boy passed some of the time just standing by the stable door at the back of the house, trying to feel the rain on his hand. He also 'helped' Mrs O bake a chocolate cake this afternoon. All in all, it really would be wrong of me to complain.
