Holiday

The good news is I have internet access!! YEAAAHHH!! I did think I would have to find some sort of internet cafe or stand on the street near a house with wifi, but thankfully, I am connected to the rest of the world.

This morning was spent getting ready to leave, sorting the car out and packing up. Sister Flowerpower and I have come to Brecon for a week of walking and exploring. The afternoon was spent driving through pouring rain for over two hours to reach here. I lived here for a year as an Assistant House Mistress and teacher in a boarding school, and a friend has very kindly let me her house for the week.

This is the River Usk ready to burst its' banks. A rather grey, dull picture.

Tomorrow is apparently going to be raining all day, so we are battening down the hatches and getting ready to chill out.
