Bee is for Alstromeria

Earlier than usual ride today with J & S, a friend of J's who is visiting.  Out to Brightwater then added on the Mt Heslington loop before returning to Brightwater for a well-earned coffee.  Lovley ride in perfect biking conditions.......no wind and no sun to speak of.  Wind came up a little on the way home when we found ourselves riding with a much more serious biker.....
Biker to J: "Where have you come from?"
J: "Stoke, just down the road.  Where have you come from?"
Biker: "Bluff"
J: Ooh - a bit further than us then!  Where are you heading?"
Biker: "Cape Reinga"

For those not familiar with NZ, Bluff is at the southern end of the South Island and Cape Reinga is at the northern end of the North Island and there's over 2000kms of pedalling in between.  Didn't mind at all offering him a 'free ride' drafting us for a few kms....I think he deserved it!
