DIY Repairs

Mr Flum has spent most of the day trying to replace the washing machine door seal (reported on 6th February as having been terminally damaged during the wash) with the new one that Evri kindly delivered into his hands earlier.

As predicted, this was not a simple task but involved much straining, torn fingers and some very bad words thought (though not expressed). And in fact the process was not completed but has been held over to allow recovery time.

Which begs the question 'why is this process so difficult and a more straightforward method not designed into the machine?'.

Meanwhile, the laundry piles up... .
