Peace & Hope
The haunting coos of the mourning dove are heard at dawn or dusk, but never in the winter when their hormone levels drop, and most often it’s the male. These birds are symbols of peace and hope, something our world desperately needs • We hung out at the cobbosseecontee stream this afternoon watching happy mallards quacking, dabbling, and preening together in swift moving water. Many dotted the stream’s snowy banks to nap in the warm February sun • Peace & Hope to You
