Schinberg 723m

A beautiful sunny day for a local hike. Perusing the Aargau Wanderweg map, be found a small village, Ittenthal, and a hill, Schinberg, 723 m that we’ve never explored. It was a really beautiful forest, with lots of crunchy beech leaves on the ground. We walked for a couple of hours, there were good views over the Rhein to Germany. There were also a lot of military bunkers and lookout points along the ridge, no longer used of course.
