Contrast
The contrast between the mountains in the Scottish Borders and the scenery on our journey today couldn't have been greater! We travelled from Newark in Nottinghamshire to Trimingham near Cromer in Norfolk. This took us across the fenlands south of The Wash with vast fields of wheat, cabbages and potatoes.
Once again the skies were spectacular.
We stopped off in the little town of Sleaford to visit the National Centre for Craft and Design. There were some interesting exhibits!
After battling in heavy holiday traffic we were pleased to reach the home of my cousin and her husband. A pleasant evening with my god daughter and her two lovely daughters visiting too - a bonus.
