Winchester cathedral

Winchester cathedral is one of the finest medieval cathedrals in Europe.   It was consecrated in 1093.   In extras is the crypt The statue created by Antony Gormley is called Sound 11.   It is a contemplative figure which stands in water for half the year.   The water generally seeps away in the summer.   As you can see, the water is still there now.
