A very long day today spent a Royal Papworth where my husband was admitted as a day case to undergo some tests.
 
While we were out, the roofers continued with sorting the roof. However, the man turned up to empty our septic tank. He had been told to telephone on Tuesday to arrange a convenient day for him to visit. My car was in the way, the roofer’s car was in the way and then he was in the way of the vehicles going up and down the lane. He broke some bricks out of our front flower border and also broke the shower room window. So as well as being at Papworth I was also dealing with various people on the telephone, including the roofers who wanted to make sure that I was aware that they did not break it. The brickwork and the window are being repaired by the septic tank operators and I shall; not pay for the emptying until it is done to my satisfaction.
