Gdańsk
We packed up and left our little apartment. At least I don’t ever ever ever have to get in that dodgy lift again. The lift that is held together with cardboard and gaffer tape and drops an inch when you step into it lol.
We met Karen and Dave and went to a lovely coffee shop where I had a strawberry tart and lemon tea. They then left for Hel and we left for Gdańsk.
It was still bitterly cold and we had our ruckies and little pull along cases, so any serious shopping or touristy things were difficult. We had a bit of a mooch and in one of the shops Victoria mentioned to the guy that we wanted dumplings so he recommended a place. It was obviously good as we had to queue outside for about half an hour. If it was popular with the Polish then it was good enough for us. And….yes it was worth the wait. Pierogi are delicious!
We headed to the airport and that was it. Poland has been brilliant, absolutely brutally cold and lots of fun, but brilliant.
