Lesser Periwinkle and Lungwort

Vinca minor and Pulmonaria officinalis

No proper ramble today, but I did take the camera with me when I walked into town as there is one sheltered spot by the side of the road where these two wildflowers can always be seen earlier than anywhere else I know.  The periwinkle in particular was interesting because it is supposed to have 5 petals but in this case very determinedly has only four.

The rest of my life continues to consist of problem-solving.  I hope I'm getting somewhere, but it's making me feel quite shaky to be honest.  Nevermind, 'nuff of that.  Have a good evening, dear folks, and thank you so much for the lovely trickle of stars and hearts  xx
