Signs of new life in the garden.

The Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes.

Today is celebrating the Feast Day of the appearance, as an Apparition, of Our Lady of Lourdes to Saint Bernadette Soubirous, in 1858 near Lourdes in France, with a serious call to do penance and prayer.

Here in Rishton it is damp cold weather, cloudy and 4c but feels like 1c. I realised wearing several layers to go out to the Church for the newsletter, made good sense.

Reading, praying, meals and crocheting shall occupy my day. I am thankful for all the mercies we receive from the Lord.
