A cunning plan
A flock of birds flew up off the ground as I was walking along the old railway track, many of them landing in trees the other side of a very overgrown section of path thick with brambles & buddleja. I wanted to identify the flock so set my Merlin bird id app going, scrambled beneath the vegetation, then as I came out the other side captured the birds once again. Goldfinches. It also picked up nuthatch, great tit, blue tit, willow tit, & Dunnock. Such a great app.
A miserable, cold, grey day, Indie & I did'nt hang about on this mornings walk, albeit I did take numerous beneath options meaning I had to remove a glove each time in order to operate the phone camera. All for a Blip! Lol!
A few chores to do back at Mum's before making her lunch, & feeding Indie.. I make mum's meals, but leave her to wash up, which is fine, BUT not everything finds it's home. This morning I searched high & low for a saucepan lid & a collapsible steamer that I'd used on Sunday. Found them both in the cupboard under the sink beneath a pair of rubber gloves. She is a tinker!!!
Back home, lunch, crossword etc. that I have a go at from Mum's I newspaper then I doodled some sashiko pattern ideas for my next project.
Thanks to heanku for hosting Mono Monday
