Moonrise over Mr. Tree

W. spotted the moon as we were driving off to take a walk in the late afternoon. At the time, it was to the left of Mr. Tree, as the kids named him years ago. It was a short walk - we parked at the high school about two miles from home and went a ways down the W&OD trail - but the cold air felt good. Back at the car, W. continued walking home and I drove to the store to pick up a few things. I feel better, but haven't eaten much and nothing really appealed, so I just got a few basics to tide us over. Another snowstorm expected tomorrow!

When I got back home with a couple grocery bags, W. was already there and the moon was on the right side.
