Rain threatening

I got sidetracked last night trying to edit a cellphone video clip and didn't post this blip.  After reinstalling video editor finally got it to work.  The monarch caterpillars have nearly eaten themselves out of a home.  I had taken a small video of them, when the wind finally dropped to show the number on plant. Luckily there is a local facebook group that matches surplus caterpillars with surplus swan plants.
Our groups walk was local today around a wetlands / water retention scheme.  With light rain or drizzle coming through from the south in bands and low overcast skies everything was looking very green apart from the Port Hills which are starting to brown off.  Garden was still very dry and decided break out the sprinkler.
Of course it rained heavier overnight
