Spiders

I had intended to go up to London for the day, with the view of visiting the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at the Natural History Museum. I even managed to get up about an hour early to ensure I caught the first off peak train.  However on opening the curtains to look out and checking the weather forecast I changed my mind!

Instead I dropped into The Savill Gardens for a cup of coffee and a quick walk round on the search of suitable subjects for this week’s Mono Monday Challenge of “Beneath”.

This example is looking up from beneath a large hanging basket bursting with spider plants found in the glasshouse. Another, in extras, is the glorious wooden ceiling of the visitor centre.

Oh, and the weather was as forecast, I.e. cold and damp, so I didn’t stay long and glad I didn’t go into London today!
