Mangaster Morning

A hard frost first thing, soon thawed with the sunshine.  Sunny all day, flat calm too.  Still clear tonight, another frosty one, I'd think. 

Up early, a new week at work.  I've been working on the mini essykert with Cliffy today.  Headed up north for paper recycling waste.  After emptying, we got the brand new mini essykert for clinical waste and also black bag waste from the small Lerwick streets.  A few teething problems with the new kert, but hopefully it will settle in.  A quiet evening at home.  Bathed Sammy, walkies when dry, then back to feet up before bed. 

We have finally hit a stunning winter spell, another glorious day.  There was another beautiful sunrise this morning, followed by blue skies all day, some clouds did pass over but didn't last long.  Having an outside based job, days like this make you forget the rainy ones.  What a pleasure to have this as my office.  Taken at 0830hrs, with the sun rising over the hills.   Looking south over Mangaster Voe, from Mangaster, Northmavine.
