Mono Monday - Beneath

AS it is quite difficult physically getting beneath objects I thought I would cheat a little by using the the effects of storm force winds. Storm Arwen uprooted major parts of the woodlands in John Muir Country Park three years ago and though they have cleared out the storm-damaged trees there still remain a few blown down trees which are exposing their roots. I have to say that it is not a pretty picture and shows that root systems are very complicated and dense.
