Cuckoo!

I don’t very often look at our cuckoo clock from underneath but here you can see the weights that keep it going and the shadow of the pendulum on the wall.

The clock was purchased in the Black Forest some years ago now and we thought we would never get used to it cuckooing regularly but now we hardly notice it! Except when it interrupts phone calls or disturbs our visitors!
