Another dreich day - even a spot of snow in our village...

A slow start to Roy's birthday, and I ended up taking in several parcels in my jim jams while he was in the shower ;) 

We braved the M62 for a trip to Castleford - how romantic - for a birthday lunch and to pick up my new skis. Just like last year, when Roy waxed and repaired the skis after our trip to Pila he found a crack in the base - last year it was a crack in his, this year a crack in mine.... So he had new skis last year and I've brought home similar ones for me this year  ;) 

We had a mooch around at the Outlet while the bindings were being fitted to the skis at X-scape - I bought Roy a nice warm coat from Trespass to ward off the February chills, and a gilet for me, so a productive afternoon!
