Embroidery Days

Before becoming passionate about crochet, I absolutely loved cross-stitch embroidery. I made masses of birthday gifts, Christmas and Easter cards and hardly kept anything for myself. I did make each of my children a framed embroidery picture. This is the one I made for my first baby.

I may have to reframe this with a mat, non-shiny, glass as it reflects everything. I had to take this slightly lopsided angle to avoid a maximum of reflections, including my camera!

I wonder if I should do a few more embroidery pictures … it’s harder on the hands and on the eyes than crochet.
