Black Headed Gull

Today we had a Sunday afternoon mosey around Swanholme and Hartsholme parks. Pretty, if somewhat overgrown areas with lakes and woodland to explore. A notice on the gate to Swanholme said that there were both adders and grass snakes there, but unfortunately I didn't find any of either.

This gull is perched on a support of what used to be a bridge over part of Hartsholme lake.
